High-quality audio and video streams are captured digitally from a number of distributed microphones and controllable cameras.

From a single workstation, the user can operate the Event Capture software and act as the "director" or "producer": Individual input devices can be controlled (e.g. volume of audio recording, or pan/tilt/zoom of cameras) and the final presentation can be composed by switching between different streams. The result can be presented "live" on a number of other systems, for example using large-scale displays and hi-fi speakers. In addition, the resulting stream can be recorded for archival storage.
